Clinical Information & Confidentiality
I strongly advise all clients to register with their local hospital to ensure safe access to care if complications arise.
For antenatal education, you must continue midwifery care with your local NHS trust.
Your information will remain confidential unless:
another provider (e.g., hospital, GP) needs details for safe care,
I am legally required to share information (e.g., safeguarding concerns),
regulatory or clinical audits require access,
you raise concerns requiring investigation.
By signing your care contract, you agree to this.
